ROCHELLE – The generous contributions made by Rochelle City Employees to the Rochelle Area Community Foundation were recognized Monday night. For over five years employees can make direct paycheck deductions that are donated directly to RACF. Executive Director Emily Anaya of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation said during the city council meeting that they were there to celebrate a culture of generosity.
“ For many years,” Anaya said Monday night, “The City of Rochelle Employees Giving Campaign has demonstrated what is possible when people come together with a shared commitment to making their community stronger. Year after year, city employees have stepped forward with open hearts, choosing to invest not only in the work that they do every day, but in the future of Rochelle itself.”
A check was presented to RACF for a total of $34,000. For more information, visit www.rochellefoundation.org. The Rochelle Area Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that connects donors with local causes to support community nonprofits and create a vibrant, sustainable Rochelle area.
