Rochelle Boys Golf Stays Unbeaten, Girls Tennis Tops Kaneland
OTTAWA — Rochelle’s boys golf team stayed perfect at 7-0 with a 152-164 win over LaSalle-Peru on Tuesday at Senica Oak Ridge Golf Course. Trenton Cunningham earned medalist honors with a 36, while Johnny Chadwick shot 38 and Ian Metzger, Alex Dyer, and Connor Lewis each carded 39. At the Doug Creason Athletic Complex, Rochelle’s girls tennis team improved to 3-3 with a 3-2 victory over Kaneland. Merit Namaste Rose won No. 1 singles 6-0, 6-0, Jaicee Ramos took No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-1, and Addie Bingham and Katie Toczylowski clinched the match with a 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win at No. 3 doubles.
