Rochelle Awards Rt. 38 Boring Contract to Utility Dynamics

ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle has selected Utility Dynamics Corporation to complete underground boring work for the Rt. 38 Line Upgrades project following a competitive bidding process. Utility Dynamics submitted the lowest bid at $94,800 and met all project specifications without exceptions. The work will relocate overhead electric lines underground at the intersection of Rt. 38 and Dement Road to reduce the risk of damage due to planned I-39 intersection changes by IDOT. City crews will handle remaining installation work to reduce costs. The project is funded through the city’s electric fund.
