ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle has created a new Class L liquor license that lets businesses like Ordinary Golfer, an indoor golf simulator located at 425 Lincoln Highway in the Lincoln Mall, serve limited amounts of beer and wine during their activities. Ordinary Golfer offers a family-friendly, reservation-based golf experience with two simulator bays for up to eight players. The license requires alcohol to be served only in designated areas and while recreational activities are happening. The city also updated rules for club liquor licenses to include nonprofit groups, removed the need for full kitchen facilities, and lowered the fee for nonprofits to $250 a year.
