ROCHELLE — The City of Rochelle has approved a plat of annexation for five acres at 13800 Gurler Road, currently home to Large Car Rebuilders, an auto body shop for semis and fleet vehicles. The property, previously outside city limits, will now be incorporated into the city with A-Airport zoning. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted 4-0 in favor of the annexation on August 4 following a public hearing, and the City Council approved the measure on Monday night.
