SYCAMORE- The Illinois Department of Transportation has begun pavement patching and resurfacing on Illinois 64 in DeKalb County this week. The work zone runs from just east of Airport Road in Sycamore to the Kane County line. Daily lane closures with flaggers will be in place during the $1.5 million project, which is expected to finish by mid-September. Drivers should watch for signs, follow speed limits, and stay alert in the work zone.
