DIXON — The Reagan Run 5K will take place Saturday in Dixon starting at 8 a.m. Now in its 25th year, the event includes post-race refreshments as part of the Petunia Fest fun. Walkers are welcome, though strollers and pets are not allowed on the course.
Jennifer Lang with Discover Dixon says the race starts at a local landmark.
“You can find the route on our Facebook page,” she says. “It does start at the Ronald Reagan Boyhood Home and it does end at Haymarket Square.”
The annual Kids Fun Run for children 9 and under will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the corner of Hennepin Avenue and 8th Street and also finish at Haymarket Square. All finishers will receive medals, refreshments, and goodie bags.
