Raoul Secures $38 Million Settlement for Ameren Customers

CHICAGO — Attorney General Kwame Raoul announced that Ameren Illinois customers in central and southern Illinois will receive bill credits from a $38 million settlement with Dynegy Inc. over inflated 2015 electricity capacity prices. About $33.5 million will go to residential and small commercial customers, with additional funds to local cooperatives and energy agencies, following years of litigation and federal review of market manipulation claims.
