Pritzker, Johnson React To SCOTUS Mail-In Ballot Order

WASHINGTON, DC  ––  State and local leaders are reacting to the Supreme Court’s ruling on mail-in voting.  The ruling lifts the block from a lower-court on many provisions of President Trump’s executive order targeting mail-in voting.  Governor Pritzker called the decision “deeply troubling,” accusing the President of trying to put fear in Americans about the security of our elections ahead of the midterms.  Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson blasted Trump, saying his order restricts mail-in voting, threatens election officials with prosecution and puts federal agencies in the middle of determining who can receive a ballot.
