CHICAGO — Gov. J.B. Pritzker has unveiled a six-year, $50 billion infrastructure program, the largest in Illinois history, to upgrade roads, bridges and transit across all counties, including $400 million for 223 local projects. In Ogle County, work in Rochelle will include reconstruction, added lanes, utility adjustments, land acquisition, bikeway and ADA improvements at Illinois 251 and Illinois 38. In Lee County, projects include $3.7 million in repairs at the U.S. 30 and Illinois 251 weigh station, multiple culvert replacements, and resurfacing of U.S. 30 from Illinois 251 to the DeKalb County line. In DeKalb County, a transit facility in Sycamore will undergo improvements under Rebuild Illinois funding.
