Polo Partners with State to Collect Local Debts

POLO – The City of Polo has joined the Illinois Office of the Comptroller’s Local Debt Recovery Program to collect tax and non-tax debts. Eligible debts under seven years old will be offset against state payments, with notifications provided to debtors. Payments will be transferred electronically to the city, and a fee of up to $20 per transaction may apply.
