POLO — A 41-year-old Polo man was hospitalized with suspected life-threatening injuries Monday night after reportedly losing control of his SUV on West Edgewood Road. Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies say the vehicle went into the south ditch, struck a guardrail, and rolled multiple times before stopping upright. The driver was taken to OSF St. Katherine’s Hospital. The crash remains under investigation, with assistance from the Polo Fire Department and Illinois State Police.
