Polo Eliminates Annual Dog Registration Fee, Keeps Ownership Limits

POLO – Polo officials confirmed the removal of the annual dog registration fee following approval of an ordinance earlier this year. The change eliminated most local dog licensing requirements while maintaining limits on the number of pets allowed per household. City rules continue to cap households at four dogs and cats combined and restrict litter sizes, with exemptions for licensed kennels. Officials said the changes do not affect state or county licensing rules.
