SYCAMORE – The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office reports that Kinder Morgan will conduct natural gas flaring operations in the 23000 block of North First Street on Tuesday, October 28, and Wednesday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The process involves burning off excess gas, which may produce a large visible flame, noise, and a faint odor. Officials said the operations are planned, controlled, and monitored by company personnel, and there is no cause for concern.
