DIXON — The 62nd annual Petunia Festival will return to downtown Dixon from July 2 through July 5 with four days of live music, family activities, carnival rides, and community events. The entertainment lineup includes LOUDERNOW on Thursday, Gin Blossoms on Friday, Graham Barham on Saturday, and Rosbrook Hall and Too Hype Crew on Sunday. Other festival events include a carnival, arts and crafts show, Family Fun Night, dog parade, festival parade, and a fireworks display over the Rock River on Sunday night.
Jenna Dempsey, vice president of marketing for the Petunia Festival, said the celebration offers something for everyone. “There’s so many activities going on, from tennis tournaments and the carnival in front of the high school to Family Fun Night, a fishing derby, baseball activities, arts and crafts shows, and so many other events taking place over those four to five days,” Dempsey said. “It’s great that everybody comes together to party it up in Dixon for Petunia Fest.”
