DEKALB — A Peace Walk and Rally will take place Friday at 6 p.m. to respond to recent gun violence in the community. The event was rescheduled after bad weather last week. It will begin at NIU Parking Lot X, proceed through the Annie Glidden North neighborhood, and return to the starting point. The gathering is supported by New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, the City of DeKalb, NIU Police, and Public Safety.
