ROCHELLE — The Flagg-Rochelle Community Park District Board approved its 2025–2026 budget and appropriation ordinance, including more than $2.7 million for capital improvements and $1.26 million for recreation. The Rec Center reported its highest membership numbers in July, surpassing winter totals across all four plans. The fitness-only plan grew to 440 members, up from 426 in January. The center, which opened in late 2020, will mark its five-year anniversary this winter. Other budget allocations include $805,690 for general operations, $260,000 for special recreation, $39,000 for lighting and paving, and $36,000 for insurance.
