Oregon Seeks Resident Input On Housing Needs Survey

OREGON — The City of Oregon is asking residents to complete a community housing survey as city leaders work to address local housing needs and improve existing homes. City Manager Darin DeHaan said the city continues to look for ways to create new housing opportunities while also supporting current homeowners throughout the community. Oregon is working with the Illinois Housing Development Authority and the Ogle County Economic Development Corporation to better understand local housing conditions and future needs. City officials said the survey is the first step in the process and could help Oregon pursue future grant funding for housing improvements and community investment projects. The survey is open to residents living within Oregon city limits and is available on the City of Oregon website.
