ROCHELLE — Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded around 5 p.m. Wednesday to the 10000 block of East Flagg Road for a single vehicle crash. Authorities said a pickup truck traveling east allegedly left the south side of the roadway and struck a small tree and a concrete retaining wall at a private driveway. The vehicle then became airborne, traveled through a yard and struck a large tree before stopping. A 44 year old Oregon man driving the pickup and a passenger were evaluated by Rochelle EMS for minor injuries and both refused treatment. Deputies said the driver suffered a medical emergency that contributed to the crash. No citations were issued.
