OREGON – The Oregon City Council approved buying property at 309 S. 1st St. for $375,000 as part of its riverfront redevelopment plans. Oregon City Manager Darin DeHaan said the location has many possible futures.
“The potential for this redevelopment would be to have some housing options, as well as some retail space and other public offerings, as well as partnering for the bike path past that property along the river.”
The area, known as the Moring Property, is located along the Rock River.
