Oregon Council Approves Grant for Conover Square Repairs

OREGON — The Oregon City Council approved a façade grant of up to $7,500 for cleanup and exterior repairs at Conover Square Mall at 201 North 3rd Street. The grant is a 50 percent match and will fund debris removal, tree and rock cleanup, and repairs to fallen stucco on the east side of the building. Council members raised concerns about the long term condition of the 140-year-old structure. They agreed the funds will be used for immediate exterior improvements.
