Oregon Code Enforcement Officer Retires After Years of Service

OREGON — Oregon City Manager Darin DeHaan recognized Randy Cropp for his service to the city following his retirement as the city’s first code enforcement officer. After retiring from the Oregon Police Department, Cropp took on the part time position and worked to address property code concerns while helping keep neighborhoods clean, safe, and attractive. DeHaan said Cropp handled the job with professionalism, dedication, fairness, and respect. On behalf of the mayor, City Council, and city staff, DeHaan thanked Cropp for his continued service to the community and wished him well in retirement.
