Oregon Approves $375,000 Purchase of Moring Property

OREGON — The City of Oregon has approved the $375,000 purchase of the Moring Property at 309 S. 1st St., using funds from the City’s Tax Increment Financing (TIF) fund. The property includes parcels 16-03-186-004 and 16-03-328-001. The City Manager has been authorized to finalize the contract, which has already been accepted by the seller. City officials are currently in discussions with a potential development group for the site, located within the Riverfront Zoning District along the Rock River.
