Oregon Approves $19.8 Million Appropriations Ordinance

OREGON — The Oregon City Council approved a $19.8 million appropriations ordinance last week for the 2025-2026 fiscal year following a public hearing. The ordinance sets maximum spending limits for all city departments, including police, street and bridge repairs, water and sewer operations, and capital improvements. Although the figures exceed the working budget, the higher limits allow flexibility in case of emergencies.
