O’Hare and Midway Poised for Busy Fourth of July Travel Weekend

CHICAGO –  O’Hare and Midway airports are poised for a busy Fourth of July travel weekend.  Chicago’s airports expect one-point-eight-six-million travelers between yesterday and next Monday based on projections from airline carriers.  O’Hare is expected to welcome around one-point-five-four-million passengers over the six-day period.  That would be an 11 percent increase compared to last year’s Fourth of July weekend, and a nine-point-two percent increase over 2019, the airport’s busiest year on record.
