STILLMAN VALLEY — John G. of Stillman Valley took first place in the 11-14 age group of Illinois’ 2025 Cream of the Crop photography contest with his entry “Harvest Time,” a bird’s eye view of grain harvesting. The contest, hosted by the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office, drew 205 submissions statewide. John will receive a $1,000 Bright Start 529 scholarship, and his photo will be displayed at the Illinois State Fair and in the Treasurer’s Office lobby in Springfield. Winning entries will also be featured in the 2025-2026 Ag Invest calendar.
