OREGON – Residents of Mt. Morris, Oregon and Polo will have opportunities to review community survey results and provide input on future revitalization plans during public meetings this week. The meetings will be held Sept. 3 in Polo from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Polo City Hall and in Mt. Morris from 7 to 8 p.m. at Mt. Morris Village Hall. An additional meeting will be held Sept. 4 in Oregon from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Nash Recreation Center. The meetings follow a community needs survey conducted earlier this summer through the Illinois Housing Development Authority. The survey results, public input and a future housing stock survey will be used to develop Community Revitalization Plans to guide future planning and development in each community.
