OREGON — The Ogle County Board last week approved $127,462 from the Opioid Fund, including awarding $2,462 for the Health Department’s SHARPS Program and $125,000 to match the Drug-Free Communities Grant. The board also approved several township road projects for 2026. This includes over $1 million for aggregate materials such as gravel and crushed stone for road base and resurfacing, $1.3 million for materials used in seal coating and surface treatments, and $113,000 for drainage pipes and culverts. The board also approved an additional $36,500 from the County Aid to Bridge Fund, for additional pipe and culvert supplies.
