OREGON — Ogle County Board members approved a solar zoning amendment after debating landscaping requirements in sparsely populated areas, passing the measure 16 to 6. The board also reviewed capital project updates including design work to move Animal Control to the Health Department building, plans to convert the vacated space for the Veterans Assistance Commission, courthouse roof repairs, insurance coordination and early planning for a courthouse memorial project that may include a 2076 time capsule.
