Ogle County 9-1-1 Leaders Visit Capitol to Support Emergency Communication Systems

SPRINGFIELD – Rochelle Communications Supervisor Luisa Nambo joined other 9-1-1 professionals from Ogle County and Illinois Valley Regional Dispatch at the Illinois State Capitol to advocate for the future of emergency communications. While in Springfield, the group met with Senator Arrelano and Representatives Fritts,  Keicher, and Spain to discuss the needs of 9-1-1 systems across the state. The visit focused on ensuring continued legislative support to keep emergency communication services strong, up to date, and fully funded.
