Ogle County 4-H Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction Set For Aug. 1

OREGON — The annual Ogle County 4 H Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction will be held Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Ogle County Fairgrounds in Oregon. The auction begins at 3 p.m. in the Beef Arena and will feature 4-H market hogs, lambs, beef animals, goats, poultry, rabbits, dairy baskets, and champion and reserve champion carcasses. The event gives the public an opportunity to support local 4-H members by purchasing animals raised as part of their livestock projects. Animals may be purchased for processing or resale, with transportation provided. Interested buyers who cannot attend can make bidding arrangements by contacting the Ogle County Extension Office at 815 732 2191.
