CHICAGO — The Northwestern Wildcats are out of the Big Ten Tournament following an 81-68 loss to number-18 Purdue at United Center. Northwestern trailed 45-21 at halftime and weren’t able to get back into the game. Nick Martinelli scored 25 points in the losing effort, while Jayden Reid finished with 19. The Wildcats will learn their NCAA Tournament fate later this weekend.
In other college hoops action yesterday, Loyola lost to Davidson 64-59 in the A-10 Tournament.
