FRANKLIN GROVE — The Nachusa Grasslands Fall Festival will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the visitor center, 2075 Lowden Road, with parking available for $5 per car. The annual event will feature wagon tours through the prairie to view bison from 10:15 a.m. to 3 p.m., guided hiking tours, hands-on activities at the Discovery Tent, live birds of prey programs, music by Mike Crowe, food from Headon’s Fine Meat, face painting, and other family activities. Donations will be accepted at the Welcome Pavilion and Bison Tours Tent.
