MT. MORRIS — The Mt. Morris Fire Protection District will host its 45th Annual Firefighters Pancake Breakfast on Thursday, July 4, from 7 to 11 a.m. at the firehouse at 15 E. Center St. Proceeds help the department purchase tools, gear and training resources not covered by the regular budget.
Mike Daleiden with the Mt. Morris Fire Protection District hopes everyone comes hungry.
“It’s all you can eat. You can go through the line as many times as you want until you’re full,” he said. “We’ll be serving pancakes, sausage, eggs, applesauce, homemade muffins, coffee, milk and orange juice.”
The fire district is also accepting donations during Friday night concerts through parking on the site of the planned new fire station, with construction expected to begin later this year.
