CORTLAND — A 29-year-old woman from Davis Junction and a 67-year-old man from Hodgenville, Kentucky, were injured Sunday afternoon when their Harley Davidson trike crashed at Route 30 and University Road, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said the motorcycle was eastbound on Route 30 and turning north when the driver lost control, went into a ditch and overturned, landing on both riders. The woman was taken to Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee Hospital and the man was flown to Javon Bea Hospital in Rockford. Authorities said both sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
