MORRISON – A 53-year-old Morrison man faces criminal sexual assault charges. State police say, in May, officers opened an investigation after receiving allegations of sex crimes that had taken place in Wisconsin and Illinois. Officers identified Brian Coers as a suspect. Agents executed a search warrant yesterday at his Morrison home. He was arrested and additional electronic devices were collected. Coers was sent to the Whiteside County Jail.
