Medicare 101 Event Set for Genoa

GENOA – State Rep. Tony McCombie will host a free Medicare 101 event Sept. 16 at Genoa City Hall to help seniors better understand Medicare and their coverage options. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 333 E. First St. in partnership with the Illinois Department on Aging’s Senior Health Insurance Program and State Rep. Jeff Keicher of Sycamore. SHIP experts will provide information about Medicare and answer questions from attendees. The event is free and open to seniors. Those attending are encouraged to bring questions about their Medicare coverage and options. Questions about the event can be directed to McCombie’s district office.
