ROCKFORD — A man wanted for sexually assaulting a child in Winnebago County is in custody in Alabama. CrimeStoppers announced that 48-year-old James Meyer was arrested last week by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama. Court records show Meyer is charged with predatory sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13.
