ROCHELLE — A man was critically injured Wednesday evening after being found unconscious but breathing under a vehicle in the driveway of a home in the 1000 block of Lincoln Highway. Rochelle Police and Fire responded to the scene at 6:02 p.m., and the man was transported to Rochelle Community Hospital before being flown to Rockford. Preliminary findings suggest the incident may have occurred during a domestic situation. Police say all involved are cooperating and there is no threat to the public. The case remains under investigation.
