ROCKFORD — A man faces DUI charges in a May crash in Rockford. Police say Kyle Wienke was driving a vehicle May 11th in the 12-hundred block of North Main Street when he lost control and crashed into a home and parked cars. The collision caused a fire and a passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with burns. Testing showed Wienke had THC in his system on the day of the crash. He is charged with a aggravated DUI crash that caused bodily harm.
