FREEPORT – A 41-year-old University Park man is charged in a shooting earlier this year in Freeport. Police say a man was shot March 13th during a fight in the 1100 block of South Chicago Avenue. The victim was treated and released from the hospital and the suspect was identified as Demetrius Henry. Henry was arrested Tuesday on multiple charges, including aggravated discharge of a firearm.
