ROCKFORD — A 47-year-old Machesney Park man is going to prison for a deadly hit and run last year. Phillip Wall was sentenced to nine years after pleading guilty to aggravated driving under the influence causing death. Authorities say Wall hit and killed 56-year-old Michelle Jones with a vehicle in January 2025 near North Springfield and West State.
