ROCHELLE – Parking lot improvements will close a portion of a downtown street in Rochelle starting this weekend. Lincoln Avenue, between 6th Street and Lincoln Hwy, will be closed from Friday, March 28th through Friday, April 4th for pavement removal, water and sewer disconnections, and pavement restoration. Additionally, the alley north of Lincoln Avenue will be closed for 100 feet until May 2nd for pavement removal and reconstruction. Road closure barricades, detour signs, and other traffic control devices will be in place.
