LEAF RIVER — A community blood drive will be held Monday, May 11th from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Leaf River United Methodist Church, 104 E. 3rd Street.
“Rural communities play a vital role in maintaining the blood supply, and every donor helps strengthen that network of care,” said Maggie Anderson, Marketing and Recruitment Specialist for the Rock River Valley Blood Center.
RRVBC supplies the total blood needs for 14 area hospitals and depends on regular donor support to meet weekly targets. Appointments are encouraged at RRVBC.org and donors should bring a photo ID.
