CHICAGO – Chicago is facing a lawsuit against its recently-enacted social media amusement tax. NetChoice filed thesuit in Cook County circuit court on Friday, claiming the tax violates free speech rights, unfairly discriminates against digital publications, violates federal law and harms Chicago residents and their businesses.
