Labor Day Traffic Enforcement Nets 7 DUI Arrests in Ogle County

OREGON – The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office reported seven DUI arrests during its Labor Day traffic enforcement campaign, along with 69 speeding citations, 23 no-insurance violations, 13 suspended or revoked license violations, and several other offenses including unlawful alcohol transportation, electronic device use and cannabis possession. Deputies also issued three seat belt citations as part of the statewide “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,” “Drive High Get a DUI” and “Click It or Ticket” campaigns, which were funded through federal highway safety funds distributed by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
