DEKALB — Kish Kids Outside has launched Passport to Nature, a free program encouraging families to explore parks, trails, wildlife and local history throughout DeKalb County. Running through Sept. 15, the program features more than 50 activities families can complete at their own pace. Participants can earn points by completing missions focused on outdoor experiences, with rewards available for reaching milestones. Organizers hope the pilot program will encourage more families to spend time outdoors and discover local resources.
