(Milwaukee, WI) — Kentucky came away with an 84-75 win over Illinois in the second round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
Koby Brea led the Wildcats in scoring with 23 points. Amari Williams led all players with 10 rebounds. Kentucky will face Tennessee in the Sweet 16 Friday in Indianapolis.
Kylan Boswell led the Fighting Illini in scoring with 23 points. Illinois finished the season 22-and-13.
It was the 5th straight season Illinois has played in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
