OREGON – An Ogle County jury on Wednesday found a 75-year-old Stillman Valley man to be a Sexually Dangerous Person, following a recovery application he filed in 2024. Ray A. Gough had previously been declared sexually dangerous in 2014 and, under Illinois law, individuals with that designation may request review every two years to determine if they have recovered. Gough will remain in the custody of the Illinois Department of Corrections, where he will continue treatment until he is no longer deemed sexually dangerous or can be safely released.
