Illinois won their first Big 10 game of the season Tuesday night as they beat Ohio State on the road 88-80.
The Illini are now (8-2) for the season.
Keaton Wagler led Illinois with 23 points. David Mirkovic had 22 points and 9 rebounds.
Bruce Thornton had had 34 points for Ohio State.
The Illini play in Champaign on Saturday afternoon against Nebraska.
